DESCRIPTION:Miatas at Mazda Raceway\nIf you’ve been following us on Facebook you know that I have donated my Mazda Miata MX-5 to raise awareness for prostate cancer and to raise funds to support the Cancer Journeys Foundation programs. \nI’ll be at Mazda Raceway in Laguna Seca this weekend\, along with 250+ other MX-5 owners\, for some fun with these great cars. \nThere’s still time to register for the event\, athough all of the hot laps are taken. Click on the image at the right for event details. \nI’ll be there from Friday noon (at the hotel in Monterey) through Saturday evening. Look me up. I’ll be somwhere near our bright yellow Miata! \nI’ll have information on how you can sign up for the 2017 Tour de USA | Northern California Run. It’s going to be a blast!! \n \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:One Sure Way to Have Fun on October 23\, 2016\nby Robert Warren Hess \nIf you like to drive cars\, you should explore the world of autocross. This is a low-speed event that tests driver skill weaving through a course marked by orange cones. There is a class for virtually every type of vehicle. People even compete using their family sedan. It’s all about fun. \nFor us here at the Cancer Journeys Foundation\, though\, it’s about fun\, cancer awareness\, and generating funds to support the 12.5 million cancer survivors living in the United States. \nExperience Autocross for Free\nWe’ll be at Fontana Sunday morning in our bright yellow livery – see our 378 car below. If you are 18 or over\, you can ride in the car with us and experience autocross right from the front seat. \nWe get just three runs\, which means three people can catch a ride. If you’re interested\, send an email to “ride.along @ cancerjourneysfoundation.org” and we’ll reserve a spot for you. \nThe Cancer Journeys Foundation 378 Car \n\n\n\n\nYour Two Next Steps\n\nProstate cancer doesn’t care\, but we do.
