DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Morning #StopCancer Walk\, Manhattan Beach\nCancer hates a healthy body! Walking is easy cancer prevention.\nCancer cells thrive on a weak immune system and chronic inflammation. Being fit reduces inflammation and improves your immune system. So\, if you are a cancer survivor or simply someone who wants to lower your cancer risk\, you need to get moving so you can #stopcancer. Walking is really easy cancer prevention. \nThere are lots of ways to get exercise\, but one of the simplest is just walking. \nThe Cancer Journeys Foundation hosts morning walks along the Pacific Ocean beginning at the pier in Manhattan Beach\, California\, every Tuesday and Sunday morning. \nThe Tuesday walk normally begins at 6:00 am and the Sunday walk begins at 6:30 am. But Tuesday October 17th we’re going a bit later. See the time below. \nEach walk lasts an hour – 30 minutes out and 30 minutes back\, but you turn around and shorten the walk if you need to. \nOur “Manhattan Beach Ramble” is part of our #stopcancer program for 2017. \nWe hope to see you there!
