How to Find Your Prostate Cancer Risk Early

Almost 200,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018 and 28,105 will die from the disease.

The Cancer Journeys Foundation is pleased to provide a free prostate cancer early detection system, ProstateTracker, that  uses the results from your annual PSA blood test and shows if there is a rising trend, which may be a marker for prostate cancer. If you have a rising PSA trend, you should consult with your doctor or your medical care provider as soon as possible.

If you do not have a family physician to order a PSA (prostate specific antigen) test, you can have the test done at LabCorp, one of the largest clinical laboratories in the world, and have the results sent directly to you, for just $35.00. Click the following link to find a LabCorp facility near you: LabCorp PSA blood test.

Prostate cancer is very treatable if it is found early. Today, the PSA blood test is the most cost-effective test available. However, it is not infallible. There are instances when the PSA test indicates prostate cancer is present when it is not. And there are times when the PSA test misses prostate cancer.

This is why it is important for men to begin an annual PSA testing program at age 35 and to closely monitor the change in value from one year to the next in consultation with your medical care provider.

Take the following simple steps to learn your prostate cancer risk:

  1. Schedule a PSA test with your doctor
  2. If you don’t have a family physician, you can order the test directly using our partnership program with Walk-in-Labs. Schedule a PSA test with Walk-in-Labs.
  3. Create a free ProstateTrackerApp account and enter your PSA number. Create a free ProstateTrackerApp account.
  4. Talk with your doctor or medical provider if ProstateTrackerApp shows you have a rising trend.

To use ProstateTracker, click the link below, activate your free ProstateTracker account, and enter your PSA test results. ProstateTracker plots your results and shows you if there is an upward trend.

A simple PSA blood test saved my life 15 years ago. I found my prostate cancer in an early stage, T2B. I was lucky, but 29,000 men every year aren’t so fortunate and die from prostate cancer.

I made a vow that I would create a simple, free system so that no man would be diagnosed late with untreatable prostate cancer. ProstateTrackerApp is that system. It’s free. It’s anonymous. It works. I hope you use it. #Testwithme
