Cancer Survivorship Resources

Hearing the words “you have cancer” is a devastating experience. Those words begin a journey that will last a lifetime, a cancer survivorship journey.

As of January 2019, there were 16.9 million Americans living with cancer in the United States and that number is projected to increase to just over 22 million by 2030.

If there is good news in the cancer story, it is that cancer survivors are living longer.  Part of this is due to earlier detection, part to better treatment, and in part to lifestyle changes by survivors themselves that allow their immune systems to more effectively battle their cancer.

The goal of this section of our website is to provide digital access to the information and resources cancer survivors need to develop and implement their cancer survivorship plan and cancer journey map.  We will be adding resources as quickly as we can index and vet them. If you have suggestions for resources or areas that we have missed, please email us at “cancer.resources @ cancerjourneysfoundation.org.”

New information becomes available frequently so our Resource Index will always be a work in progress.  I hope you will find the information here that you need to support your journey.

Warmly,

Robert Hess
