2018 Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas of Team INEOS plans to mirror a standard shift of a typical National Health Service (NHS) health worker. He’ll be riding 12 hours shifts for three days on Zwift.com, beginning at 11:30 PM on April 14th.
Here’s Geraint’s schedule –Â https://zwift.com/events/view/547349
Anyone with a Zwift.com account is free to join. Here’s how to join –Â https://zwift.com/news/12872-join-an-event-and-read-the-calendar
Health care workers across the world are performing incredible tasks under the most trying conditions imaginable. I’m going to ride a two-hour leg with Geraint to honor these workers. I’ve never riden my indoor trainer for more than 40 minutes at once but I believe this is a wonderful opportunity to honor our medical heros.
My Zwift ride will be uploaded to my Strava.com account. You can connect with me on Stava.com at this link – https://www.strava.com/athletes/58546.
I’ll be riding the 5:30am PDT leg on April 15th. I hope to see you in the peleton!
Stay Well!
