A recent study by researchers at Stanford University School of Medicine found that injecting very small amount of immune-stimulating agents into solid tumors in mice completely eliminated all traces of the cancer.

The researchers believe this method could become an effective and relatively inexpensive cancer therapy that does not result in the adverse side effects often seen with body-wide immune stimulation.
