Cancer Hates a Fit Body
Our own immune system is our best defense again cancer and cancer recurrence. Our immune system works 24 x 7 to prevent normal cells from becoming cancer cells.
But we need to do our part to help our immune system work: that means healthy nutrition (except maybe for a once-a-week “bad food day”) and exercise.
I personally walk and bicycle, but bicycling is my favorite cancer prevention tool. I ride about 1,800 miles a year and wish it could be more.
If you are a cancer survivor looking to improve your fitness, think about throwing your leg over that bicycle you probably have in your garage and Just Do It®!
One of my goals has been to ride in the Masters World Track Cycling Championships. This year I accomplished that goal. Watch the videos below.
